Wizards Of The Coast

At Wizards of the Coast, we connect people around the world through play and imagination. From our genre defining games like Magic: The Gathering® and Dungeons & Dragons® to our growing multiverse, we continue to innovate and build new ways to foster friendship and connection. That’s where you come in!

Do you have experience coordinating the intersection of entertainment development and product development?

Wizards Franchise Development Team is looking for a Senior Creative Producer to assist our Creative Director in ensuring the success of all of Wizards efforts around productizing newly developed entertainment. We need a professional who enjoys discovering and communicating logistical challenges that naturally arise during creative development efforts and partnering with impacted teams to create solutions!

As the Sr Creative Producer for Consumer Products, you are our front-line communicator and informational resource, working between our Franchise Team, internal studios, and external partners to communicate content developments, raise awareness of any challenges, and ensure that all involved have what they need when they need it. You can adapt management and communication styles to bring clarity to ambiguous situations and bring structure to any discordant schedules. You are a hub of knowledge, organization, and assets, ever-driving alignment, process, and organizational confidence.

What You'll Do:
  • Drive communication around all developments for Magic and D&D entertainment from conception, through scripting and asset development
  • Review and reconcile deltas between entertainment schedules and the needs of productization efforts by Wizards internal studios and Licensed Consumer Products.
  • Where scheduling deltas cannot be reconciled, proactively level-set with impacted parties, letting them know what can be expected and continue to work between parties to find solutions and efficiencies where possible.
  • Lead regular meetings with studio partners to deliver and receive updates and developments.
  • Ensure that creative guides based on entertainment efforts have appropriately scheduled kick offs, development cycles, and deliveries.
  • Oversee distribution of scripts and visual assets at the appropriate stages of development. Act as centralized communication hub for entertainment/productization related questions from the organization(s).
  • Lead a team of up to 5 creatives.
What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years experience supporting the creation of products driven by new entertainment.
  • A deep understanding of both entertainment timelines and productization needs from direct work experience, understanding both pipelines allowing you to recognize logistical implications of developments from both sides.
  • 4+ years experience as a Producer, Project Manager, Product Designer, or similar role.
  • Proven communication, presentation, and collaboration skills; able to identify and elegantly present developments, challenges, and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • A track record in building highly effective interpersonal business relationships in a highly matrixed organization.
  • You will need to be or become proficient with FMP and fluent with Asana and Brainbase.
  • Willingness to travel in a safe, post-pandemic world.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
