Software Engineer II-PlayStation Direct

We have recently launched PlayStation Direct, an online store where PlayStation fans can purchase consoles, accessories, games and more, directly from PlayStation in USA and Europe. As we continue to build and expand this new commerce platform, we are looking for a talented Software Engineer II to join the team.
As a Software Engineer II, you will
- Work in an agile and highly collaborative environment within our globally distributed engineering teams.
- Develop, unit test and deploy highly available and scalable global systems and services.
- Participate in design and validation of your own features.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 3+ years experience developing business critical software with Java using object analysis and design.
- 3+ years experience with Micro Services, RESTful Web Services, XML/JSON, Multi-Threading and messaging techniques.
- 2+ years experience with Spring or Spring Boot.
- 2+ years experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience using Git source control and issue management systems (esp. Jira).
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills and a sense of ownership.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience building ecommerce solutions, SAP Commerce (Hybris) is a huge bonus.
- Experience in deploying, operating, and running services in AWS or other cloud environments.
