Senior Software Engineer, SpeedTree
SpeedTree has been in business for more than 20 years and has been used in numerous games and films. As part of Unity's world building organization, we have the opportunity to build our vision of delivering world-class vegetation solutions to as many creators as possible, and we're looking for someone to help us realize this vision.
As a software engineer on SpeedTree, you'll help the team continue to build on their years of success while also developing new, innovative approaches to realistic vegetation. What you’ll be doing
- Help define and build a best-in-class SpeedTree integration into Unity, with a focus on the Unity-side integration code.
- Help to ensure the current SpeedTree/Unity integration works smoothly in all pipelines.
- Work with product designers to ensure integration is intuitive and accessible.
What we’re looking for
- Solid knowledge of Unity game engine internals and an understanding of integrating new graphics technologies.
- Familiarity with SpeedTree.
- Strong C++ and C# skills
