HR Generalist with Recruitment focus (maternity cover)

Gameloft Budapest has a team of 80 game developers, designers, artists and other professionals whose passion is to create mobile games that are enjoyed by millions of people each and every day.

The position is for fixed-term, most probably for 2 years, but for sure until our recent colleague returns from maternity leave.

Job Description

If you'll wondering what your challenges would be, here is a summary with some details.

Recruitment: Since professionalism and team spirit is a number one priority for us, you'll have a crucial role in finding the best talents who will join us. You'll manage the recruitment process end-to-end, also it will be your challenge to provide an excellent candidate experience for everybody who applies for our vacancies. 

Some details on what you'll do in most of your time:

  • Recruitment with job postings, research into new job boards and websites (locally and worldwide). We have around 10-15 openings parallel, most often we recruit for positions like C++ programmer, game designer, 3D artist, 2D artist, Game community manager, Product marketing Manager etc.)
  • Proactive sourcing of talent pools, ie. candidate generation beyond using job boards (all ideas are welcome here:))
  • Initial contact with candidates, schedule and conduct interviews (superb candidate experience is a top priority here)
  • Update and maintain candidate database (as for an ATS we use SmartRecruiters, it works pretty nicely. :)) 
  • Manage the recruitment process, come up with new ideas, educate the hiring managers
  • Support the relocation process of non-EU hires. (we do have a relocation agency but some administration still needs to be done by us)
  • Provide all the necessary information to the HR Assistant and IT Manager about the newjoiners
  • Keep contact with the agencies that we are working together to help us find the best candidates for the hardest positions.

HR processes: Besides recruitment you'll coordinate and organize several HR processes to make sure our team enjoys working in the studio each and every day, throughout the whole year.  As for employee experience, you'll coordinate and manage

  • Social Media activities (i.e Facebook and LinkedIn job posting), internal communication and online events (Xmas party, summer teambuilding, random beer drinking, donuts or ice-cream day, game jams etc.)
  • Keep contact with external partners (i.e. compensation and benefits companies)
  • Employee engagement activities (pulse survey, satisfaction interviews, internal HR related training)
  • Any other ad hoc HR related tasks helping the HR manager

If you'll join us, you'll be working in a 5 people HR team (Recruitment resourcer, HR assistant, HR generalist and HR manager). We are working closely with eachother. 


What you'll need to join us?

We don't ask from you an Msc or any kind of diploma in HR or relevant fields. It's good if you have, but for us some relevant recruitment experience, passion, positive 'can do attitude' and ability to multitasking is the most important. 

And of course fluent English, since you'll have interviews in English and also we have colleagues from abroad. Also, you'll need fluent Hungarian to cover payroll and work contract related matters.
